Subject: [G-P-L] Poznan Archive Records Request

Can you tell us the time period that was covered by the records that you
requested from the Poznan Archive; before and/or after civil registration?
Does the Poznan Archive hold both Roman Catholic & Lutheran parish records?

Maybe I should try this route for the records of the siblings of my
ancestor, Julia STEINKE, b/b April 1819 in Behle (Biala, PL); near
Schönlanke (Trzcianka, PL) in the vicinity of Schneidemühl (Pila, PL).

Does this sound like a reasonable (worthwhile) plan of action or does the
ca. 1819 time period disqualify my query since it predates civil
registration?

Thanks,
Bette
