Hi Ursula, Julius was b 1861 immigrated from Prussia on the ship
Wesser departed Bremen arrived Baltimore May 1883.
The first time I find him is his marriage license in LaSalle County,
IL on 8 Aug 1886 d 13 Dec 1919 in cook county. I only found him on the
1910 census as a widower in a rooming house. I know that I my
grandmother was born in cook county 1887.
I have about 6 letters from my grandmother's estate and the info I
have in my post were taken from those letters. I do have one full name
from a letter date 14 Feb 1948 from a Mrs Liselott Trunt-Muscheid at
24a Hamburg 21. Germany. Fahrstr.23a .... I have not be able to follow
up on the name or address. Oh, it does start out as Dear cousin... so
I think I can safely assume that it is a cousin. lol

About the river sieg, I had suspected that the river was in
Westphalia, but had assumed that the family only kept in contact with
the Beske side of the family. My great grandmother was from
Westphalia, so that card must pertain to her family.
Thanks
Flora in Michigan USA
