Ursula - I am looking for my maternal great grandparents Emil Vonder
Linden (Von der Linden, Vonderlinden, Von DerLinden) born May 1860 in Bayern.
He arrived in New York in 1882 - was naturalized Oct. 1892 in New York.

Annie (Anny Mary Woithe) born 1862 in Preusor (sp?) also arrived 1882.
Emil and Annie were married 1885 and their four children Mary 1886, Louis
1889, William 1890 and Emil 1893 were born in New York.

The 1900 Federal census for Manhattan, New York has them listed. I have
all the subsequent census images for the family - just can't get back to
Germany with them. Any help would be appreciated - I have been searching this
one for 15 years.

I have the volume Germans to America #26 covering October 1871 to April
1872 - will be glad to do a look up. If anyone has the volume that
covers
arrivals in 1882 I would appreciate a lookup for Emil Vonder Linden
(spelled
Von der Linden, Vonderlinden, and Vonder Linden) and possibly wife Annj
Marj Woithe.
