*new* for TheShipsList website
http://www.theshipslist.com/
All the new and updated files and databases have been placed on their own
page(s) Find them on the front page in between the big arrows
--------------> <---------------
At the bottom of each of these pages I have placed links named " previous
month " and " next month " so you are able to navigate back and forth
between the monthly *new & updated* pages, as I only keep three months of
*new* page links on the Home page. New for September 2010 is . . .
o Passengers SA:
o barque Peter Goddefroy, from Hamburg, to Port Adelaide 7th
September 1857 & Melbourne 19th September 1857
This is a great list, with lot of different passenger numbers reported in
the newspaper, but we have noted the correct number on the webpage. Robert
outdid himself compiling this list, however, as we always say ... if anyone
has any correction or addition to add, it will be most welcome.
note: the Melbourne arrival list for this vessel does not appear to have
survived (that is, at the ProVic), however all those Melbourne destined
passengers can all be found on this page.
o Passengers Steamboats:
o John Molson - 27th trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 27th October 1832
o John Molson - 28th trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 2nd November 1832
o John Molson - 29th trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 5th November 1832
o John Molson - 30th trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 10th November 1832
o John Molson - 31st trip up, Quebec to Montreal, 15th November 1832
These are the last JOHN MOLSON steamboat passenger lists for 1832. These
last lists were often hard to read, so apologies for the number of ? ;
interesting to note that there were Emigration Society Tickets being given,
right up to 2nd last trip.
Please share this *new* for TheShipsList website email, with any other list
to which you belong if you think it might be of interest or value to those
list members (in other words, on-topic).
ps. going to a family reunion, so there won't be another *new* for at least
two + weeks.
Enjoy
Sue
