Dear Listers,
If any of you find yourselves in Southern California, you can see a section of the Berlin Wall at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley.  Or you can view online a Library Video Tour narrated by Gary Sinise.  It includes mention and an image of the part of the wall that stands "in the open air and free". Google "Ronald Reagan Presidential Library".

Researching Welter and Busche in Hessen.

Happy New Year to all Listers!

It has certainly been quiet here at GPL . The holidays have come and gone

and everything - at least with me - is back to normal.

While doing research for an article about 'apple drying' in the 20th

Century, I came upon this short video about the Berlin wall.

It's in English and I hope you'll enjoy it.
