Recently there have been a number of mail about "Where is the Berlin Wall"
At first I thought they might be asking where parts of it might be. Then you
read from people who have no concept of the wall.
The Berlin Wall was one of the most important parts of modern world history.
First its construction and after many years, its removal. When I first saw it,
I was amazed and impressed. When it came down and we were allowed to visit
the parts of Germany that had been enclosed, I was then exposed to the way
people behind it were treated. The houses painted so dark and plain.
Aft future visits, I was amazed at how people started brightening up their homes
and towns. The military towers started disappearing. People were now becoming
real human beings again
I would suggest that anyone who doesn't truly know the story of the wall, visit their
local libraries or history centers and learn about a period of time that had such a
huge part of history.
