Fargo, April 22.--Emile T. GESSE, a resident of this vicinity for many
years, died suddenly at his home on the County Line road at 12 o'clock
last night. Death was due to pulmonary hemorrhages.

Mr. Gesse was born in Posen, Germany, on May 20, 1868. When about two years
old he came to this country with his parents. He is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Martha SENN GESSE; two daughters, Mrs. Howard WARD of Alden and Miss
Ethel Gesse of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Vernon and Duane WARD of Alden;
a brother, William Gesse of Olean, and five sisters, Mrs. Mary CLARKSON
of Oak Park, Ill., Mrs. Ray FERGUSON of Buffalo, Mrs. Matilda WHITTMAN
of Fargo, Mrs. John BARNES of Alexander and Mrs. Emma LAWRENCE of Corfu.

Funeral services for Mr. Gesse will be held at his late home at 2 o'clock
Thursday afternoon. Burial will take place in the Corfu cemetery.

Listing paper unknown. Mr. Colby was married to my great-grand aunt, Martha
SENN.
