Hello List!

Finding that I even have a GIFFORD has taken years! This is all I have:

My gr-gr-grandparents:

Rachel R. GIFFORD, b. Abt 1848 OHIO; m. 29 Nov 1866 OHIO, Jeremiah "Jerry"
SNYDER, b. Abt 1834 OHIO

Children:
- Clara SNYDER b. 26 Oct 1867, Findlay, HANCOCK Co. OHIO (my gr-
grandmother) m.(1)A.J.AUGUST; (2)E.MYERS
- Howard SNYDER b. Abt 1871, OHIO

Perhaps someone with OHIO GIFFORDS can give me a lead. I was told there were
quite a few GIFFORDS in OHIO records in the 1860's. Currently I am having a
"look up" in 1880 census to verify ancestry other than OHIO.
