We are looking for any information about the parents & siblings of Lester
Charles GIFFORD (b. 1809) in Rensselaer County, NY, and his wife Christiana
KING (b. 1811)N.Y.
They were married in 1836. Abt 1840(?) they moved to Wisconsin.
On the 1850 Wisconsin Census there was an Isaac LEWIS age 77 b. NY enumerated
in their household -- possibly a relative?
By 1860, Lester & Christiana Gifford had moved to Iowa, where they lived
the rest of their lives.
So far we have been unsuccessful in discovering who Lester & Christiana's
parents were, or where in Rensselaer County they resided before moving
to Wisconsin.
