John S. Gifford born 1818 in New York, wife Eliza June deFoe born abt 1826. John's father was Abraham Gifford born 1776 in Sandwich, Barnstable, Mass. Wife of Abraham, was Lucy Sherman. John S. Gifford's family moved to Launderdale, Alabama. The marriage produced five children. Have a lot on this line.
