Gary M. Gifford, LACONIA

LACONIA-Gary M. Gifford, 36, of Washington Street, died Saturday at his home. He was born in Amesbury, Mass., the son of Leland and Barbara Marie (Casey) Gifford. He had lived in the Lakes Region since 1979 and graduated from Winnisquam High School in 1985. He was employed at the Jenkins Garden Center and had formerly owned and operated Brothers Pizza in Tilton and Laconia. He enjoyed spending time with his family, snowmobiling, watching wrestling and eating hot peppers. Survivors include a brother, Mark Gifford of Laconia; a sister, Kelly Curley of Lochmere; four nephews; one niece; and uncles, aunts and cousins. Calling hours will be held at Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m., using the Carriage House entrance. Services will follow at the funeral home at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are. This is here as a lasting memorial for Mr. Gifford.
