In Leah Blackman's book "History of Little Egg Harbor Township" she lists Isaac Gifford, m. Hannah, dtr. of Eli Mathis. Their ch. were Esther, Eli, Mary, Rachel, Charlotte, Leah, Hannah and Isaac Ellis.
Eli, son of Charlotte Gifford m. Anna, dtr. of James Kennedy. He is the Rev. Eli Gifford of the Methodist denomination..
