GIFFORDCathy: We are descendants of James Gifford (b. 1827) and Malissa (b. 1826). James descended from Isaac; Isaac descended from (James) Pickle Gifford (b. 1771-1772). There is definitely an Indian connection here, based on Indian rights application.
