This is mainly for Paul Gifford in Michigan. I'm doing research on Capt John Gifford and wife Ruth Wilcox, place Nunda, Livingston, NY., time 1779. They seem to have connections with Giffords in Mich. Could you pls. let me know if you are possibly a very distant cousin?
