Hoping to connect with anyone on the list who is researching Isaac Gifford, b. 1801 in Huntingdon Co., PA, moved to Cambria County about 1830 and then onto Indiana? in the 1860's? I want to find how many children he and his wife had, and whether his wife Margaret's name was Lovell or Gardner.
I recently went through newspapers of Cambria county and found a fair bit of information on Isaac, including a description of his land (amounting to about 400 acres) he sold in 1856 in Cambria County before leaving for the west. found other information on him as well.
