Many thanks for your reply. Your gt grandmother Alice was of course Edith's sister and with John (Jack I believe many people called him) they were licenses of the Richard 111 public house in Castle Street, Luton. My Dad used to help in the bar and that is where he met Mum. I would love to see your picture of Alice if that's possible. I've got quite a bit of info on the Solomon/Williams families so we may be able to help one another. My email is .
