Sian and Marilyn,
Sorry to barge in with a different question, but perhaps you can help direct my research.

My ggfather was John Gillingham Miles. His grandfather had a son Gillingham Miles. I've always thought these unusual first and middle names and that they must have come from a Gillingham ancestor. Do you think I'm mistaken? If not, what steps can I take to try to find a Gillingham line in my ancestry? My MILES line goes back to Chester, PA to the late 1790's. Any help appreciated.
