Does anyone have information on the Gilroys out of Ireland.
My gr-grandmother was Mary Gilroy daughter of Hugh Owen
Gilroy and Margaret Tiffany. Mary came to the U.S. in 1862.
Does anyone know what port they used during the civil war.
I think she may have come through Canada. Can't find her
on any ships list. She worked her way over baking bread for
the captain, so may be on a crews list. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks
