I've "rescued" an old photograph album which appears to have belonged to the
SNYDER Family of Tekamah, Nebraska. The photograph album includes many
photographs of SNYDER, BAKER, ECKLEY, SHOAT, TAYLOR, RICHARDSON, and LYDICK
family members including the following photographs:

Based on limited research I find Minna & Elsie ECKLEY living in Arizona, NE
with their Mother, Margret ECKLEY (listed as married but without her husband
living in the home) and a brother Elmer ECKLEY during the 1880 census.
Minna is age 10, Elsie age 3, and Elmer age 1. Both girls are listed as
born in PA as is their 34 year old Mother Margret with Elmer listed as born
in NE.

I also was able to find Burwin LaRoy BAKER b. 10 Jan 1909 in Tekamah, NE the
son of David LaRoy BAKER and Lettie Irene BEAN. Burwin married Eva DAVIS on
the 14th of Jan 1928 In Tekamah, NE. Burwin died the 17th of April 1966. I
believe that David LaRoy BAKER may have been the son of Jacob & Jane BAKER
who was listed as LaRoy BAKER age 4 whose family was living in Arizona, NE
during the 1880 census. Jacob & Jane BAKER ages 41 and 35 both listed as
born in Ohio were living with 4 children, John age 11, Millie age 9, Artamus
age 7, and LaRoy age 4 during that 1880 census.

In the 1880 census of Arizona, NE I also find Clarence SYNDER the son of
Fredrick & Mary E. SYNDER. The SYNDER family includes 4 children at that
time, Clarence age 8, Deisy age 5, Bertha age 3, and Ada age 11 months.
Fredrick's age is recorded as 42 having been born in Germany, with Mary E.
SNYDER age 30, born in Pennsylvania.

I believe that Bessie RICHARDSON included in at least two of the photographs
is likely Bessie Frew RICHARDSON b. 30 June 1892 in Burt Co., NE to parents
David & Mary. Bessie married Herbert BLANKENBECKLER on the 10th of January
1912 in Burt Co., NE and died in California in April 1976.

I also believe that Cora LYDICK pictured was probably Cora J. LYDICK b. 1
Jan 1870 in Tekemah, NE
the daughter of Hiram Carpenter LYDICK and Mary Elizabeth GILTNER who with
their family of 7 children were included in the 1880 census of Arizona, NE.
Their children included Von A. age 13, Cora J. age 11, Walter B. age 8,
Alvin age 6, Samuel J. age 4, James W. age 2, and Mary R. age 5 months.

I'm hoping to locate someone from these families so that these wonderful old
photographs can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of
one of these families or know someone who might be, please contact me.
