I was trying to find out where the Thomas A. Glenn fits into the realm of the
Glenn connections of MS? My aunt met a lady who was sellling her book
(pictorial) about TX A&M college last weekend in Bryan-College Station while she was
attending a Horticulture Awards/Scholarship Banquet. The lady was married to
a Berry Glenn and she told my aunt that she had ties to a Thomas A. Glenn and
there was a Glenn book published on this family line but also there was a
Glenn reunion each year in MS.
Perhaps the book, Family Associations that is published by the lady who
publishes the Genealogists and Courthouse books (Peggy Bentley I think) may have or
list the Glenn Family Assn or reunion...not sure but maybe.
I was told that the Thomas A. Glenn married a Vernor female and lived in MS
but not found anything on this yet. My spouse's line is Simeon Glenn b. 1750
VA (prob. Hanover/Louisa Co., VA) to Albemarle and Goochland, Pittsylvania
Co., VA into Elbert, Oglethorpe Co., GA by 1802. Simeon Glenn mar. Susannah
Maxcey/Maxey, dau. of Edw. Maxey, planter in VA. Simeon Glenn, Jr. b. 1789 VA
married into Key family line. Clark, Key, Glenn, Bibb, Anthony, Moorman, Moon
and others in VA early relate.
