I've "rescued" an old family bible which appears to have originally belonged
to the MORSE Family of Beverly, Massachusetts. The information contained in
the bible is as follows:

Based on limited research I believe that Addison GOODHUE was born 9 Nov 1814
in Chebacco, MA to parents Ebenezer GOODHUE and Anna BROWN and that Harriet
C. MORSE was born in Beverly, MA as noted. Addison & Harriet was living in
Wakefield, MA during the 1880 census with three children, James P. age 26,
Charles B. age 23, and Adelia F. age 30.

Harriet's sister Abigail married Albert FOSTER b. 18 Sept 1818 in Beverly,
MA. Albert was the son of Israel FOSTER and Sally LOVETT. Abigail having
been widowed before the 1880 census is recorded in Beverly, MA living with
three of her younger children, Martha E. age 22, Sally E. age 19, and Nellie
P. FOSTER age 16.

Abbie F. FOSTER is recorded in the 1880 census living with her husband
Charles A. KENT and 4 children, Freddie C. age 9, Gertrude age 7, Arthur S.
age 4, and Leroy age 2 months. Abbie F. FOSTER's younger sister Henrietta
married George O. ELDREDGE and was living with his parents, James & Eliza A.
ELDREDGE in Wenham, MA during the 1880 census. It appears that Henrietta &
George O. ELDREDGE had one son at that time, Albert F. ELDREDGE age 11
months.

Martha E. FOSTER's husband George A. STANLEY was the son of Mary E. STANLEY
and a sister Alice R. STANLEY who were all living together in Beverly, MA
during the 1880 census. George was recorded as 23 years of age at the time.
Nellie Parker FOSTER's husband Louis Pillsbury LYNN b. 1856 in Beverly, MA
was recorded during the 1880 census living with his parents, William C. &
Hannah F. LYNN and a sister Nellie F. LYNN.

Addison GOODHUE recorded in the bible as born in 1838 was recorded in the
1880 census living in Saco, ME with his wife Mary E. Y. GOODHUE age 33, and
two sons, George B. age 7, and William H. GOODHUE age 11 months. Gertrude
KENT's husband Clifford WOODBERRY b. 11 Jul 1874 in Beverly, MA
was living with his parents Timothy Walter WOODBERRY & Mary Abbie FOSTER and
three siblings, Howard F. age 9, Allice G. age 3, and Eveline A. WOODBERRY
age 6 months during the 1880 census of Beverly, MA. Clifford WOODBERRY died
in April 1968 in Beverly, MA.

Albert Foster ELDREDGE b. 1879 died 28 April 1967. I'm hoping to locate
someone from this family so that this wonderful old family bible can be
returned to the family. If you are a member of this family or know someone
