Baronet, died Sepember, 17718, daugther of (Sir) ROBERT GRIERSON of Lagg.

[2] (Sir) Robert Grierson, of Lag, who deceased upon Friday, 21st January,
1629, in his own HOUSE OF LAG, & conveyed from thence to the Kirk, where he
was interred upon Tuesday, 17th February, [1629].

[3] (Sir) Robert Grierson, of Lagg, Baronet, died at Dumfries [the] 29th
December, 1733, [aged 77], he married (Lady) HENDRETA DOUGLAS, daughter of
Earl of Queensberry, by whom his eldest son, GILBERT, (Writer & Chamberlain)
to the Duke of Buccleugh.
