PEORIA - Gregg Grierson, 86, of Quincy, formerly of Peoria, died at 6:14
p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, in Iowa City, Iowa.Born Sept. 14, 1916, in St.
Louis to Thomas and Mary Seifert Grierson, he married Virginia Mirande on
Sept. 21, 1947, in Ilasco, Mo. She survives. Also surviving are three sons,
Thomas (and Bonnie), Robert (and Debra) and Gregg; one daughter, Marianne
Grierson; six grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild.He was a World War II
Army veteran with rank of staff sergeant,...

Wayne Martin Grierson, 71, of Tavernier, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004,
after a long illness. The founder and president of Blue Water Engineering &
Design Inc., Mr. Grierson had been a resident of the Keys since 1982.He was
born Oct. 3, 1932, in Akron, Ohio, to Martin and Hazel Grierson.Mr. Grierson
was graduated from the University of Ohio with a master's degree in civil
engineering.He served in the Army and was stationed in England.

Marcia A. Grierson, 96, died Thursday at Camden Health Care Center.She was
born in Washington, a daughter of William E. and Winifred M. Weaver Creamer,
and attended local schools. In 1922, she married Chester A. Grierson in
Rockland. They lived in Owls Head for a short time before moving to South
Thomaston. Mr. Grierson died in 1965.Mrs. Grierson was employed at Holmes
Packing Co. She also did domestic work for area families. She was a
homemaker and raised her family of 13 children;

MARLBORO -- Kenneth B. Grierson Jr., 86, of 44 Upland Road, a longtime
watchmaker, died Friday, Jan. 7, in Bolton Manor Nursing Home after a short
illness.He leaves his wife of 62 years, Roberta A. (Welt) Grierson; a
daughter, Susan P. Brennan of Marlboro; a brother, Loren Grierson of
Waltham; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A
son, Robert Grierson of Sudbury, died in 1988. A granddaughter died in 1992.
He was born in Waltham, son of Kenneth B. Grierson, Sr.

PASCAGOULA - Services for James R. "Jimmy" Grierson Sr., 72, of
Pascagoula, who died of a stroke and congestive heart failure Friday, Jan.
5, 2001, at the USA Medical Center in Mobile, Ala., were today at 2 p.m. at
O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. Mr. Grierson served in the U.S.
Army and was a Korean War veteran. He was a graduate of Louisiana State
University. He was a native of Moss Point and a lifelong resident of Jackson
County.
