note: this is hand written account and hard to read. I will type my best
understanding. Submitted for genealogy purposes: These Gullet names were
spelled with the "one t" at the end and Rease is spelled with an "a")+ Judy
hugg grimes

STATE OF TENNESSEE this day personally appeared before countyof Dekalb and
me, E.J. Eavans, Clerk of this county court and state afore said WILLIAM T.
GULLET , a person who I certify to be entitled to full faith and credit on
his oath. Being duly sworn according to law deposes and swears that he is in
possession of the family Bible which did belong to his father, Rease Gullet.
and his mother, Eady Gullett, who is now an applicant for pension. Date of
Bible is eighteen hundred and twenty one (1821). further swears the following
is a true copy of the record from said Bible.

REASE GULLET WAS BORN DECEMBER 13, 1794.

EADY GULLET WAS BORN MARCH 4, 1802.

REASE GULLET AND EADY MORGAN WERE MARRIED AUGUST 5, 1832.

BIRTHS OF CHILDREN:

WILLIAM T. GULLET WAS BORN AUGUST 29 IN 1833

GEORGE W. GULLET WAS BORN APRIL 23 IN 1835

JOSEPH C. GULLET WAS BORN MARCH 3 IN 1837

HENRY W. GULLET WAS BORN MARCH 31 IN 1839

MARTHA M. GULLETT WAS BORN OCT 24 IN 1841

REASE GULLET DIED ON NOVEMBER 17 1871 , further swears he has no interest in
said claim for pension.

copy from said Bible and it appears to be genuine and further certify I have
no interest in said claim for a pension whatever this August 6 th day of 1878.
