Hello,
I am new to the list. I am searching for the surname MOZINGO--- during
the colonial period of settlement in Massachusetts. In the Virginia
Company Books 4 volumes usually housed in State Libraries I found the
reference that a JOHN PIERCE/PEIRCE had his patent removed from doing
business with the company by transporting people to the new colonies
because he contracted with
SIR FERNINANDO GORGE to transport people to the "NORTHERN PLANTATION"
PLYMOUTH. The reference was dated ca. 1621
These 4 volumes are interesting reading about the beginning of Colonial
Virginia
They list many names. The wording and spellings are much different than
they are now. They are from 1609---1624.
