Nettie,

I agree with Dick. The word "Oak" is a very popular name. After all,
Oak Trees are one of the many trees that grow here in New England. We have
three cemeteries on Oak Street in the Taunton, MA area also.

I'll bet there is at least two or three cemeteries in each county in MA that
have the word "oak" in the name.

Why don't you try contacting the Town Hall office in West Medford. They may
have a Cemetery Department that has lists of all the cemeteries in the town.
You can also ask the Town Hall people how to contact the town's local
Historical Society. The Historical Society usually has lists of all the
cemeteries whether they are private or public.

Your local Post Office can probably help you with the zip code of West
Medford.
Your long distance information Telephone operator can probably help you to get
the address and phone listing for the West Medford Town Hall.
Then you can either make a telephone call ---or---
Write to:

Attention: Cemetery Department
Town Of West Medford
Town Office Building
West Medford, MA (Zip Code +4)
or
West Medford Historical Society
c/o Town Office Building
West Medford, MA (Zip Code+4)

Good Luck in your search!
