Hi,

Family Tree Maker has a site at http://www.family-tree.com/00000137.html about
DAR. I have not looked at this page, but it could be helpful.

Also, you can visit http://www.chesapeake.net/DAR/eligibility/eligible.html.
This is DAR membership eligibility regulations. I shall cut and paste some of
the details from this exact URL....
"Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of
age and can prove lineal, blood line, descent from an ancestor who aided in
achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for each
statement of birth, marriage and death."

So, even if someone is born in MA, and 100 years after the Revolution ended,
they are still eligible, as are all their female descendants once they reach
18, to be members of DAR.
