Subject: Re: Flagg family in New Hampshire and Mass

Greetings from South Carolina. I have no FLAGGS. But from my SC research, I
believe there is a connection between the N. England FLAGGs and those of
coastal SC (Horry & Georgetown Cos.). Wish I could be of more help, but if
any of you have any missing FLAGGs, you might try SC.
Just in case any of you find a SC FLAGG connection, here is a little info.
"The Hermitage," built near current Murrell's Inlet, SC in 1849, by Dr. Allard
Belin FLAGG. His sister, Alice, is famous in SC for the ghost story
surrounding her romance with a boat captain. She,along with other family
members, is buried at All Saints (Episcopal) Church. Have more details on The
Hermitage & Alice (but no genalogical info) if anyone is interested.
