Hi all,
I'm interested in obtaining the name of my great.....etc etc
grandmother. I do not know her birthday or her husband's birthday, I do
not know what ship she came over from or where, I do not know where she
was wed. All I know is her name was Margaret, she was born in England,
she married Patrick Lynch of Ireland, and he (not necessarily her too)
came over around the potato famine from County Cork or Galaway in
Ireland. I do know, however, the full name of their son, the month and
year he was born in, the exact date he died, who he married, and the
fact that he was born in Charlestown, MA. What records would I send for
that would help me trace my ancestry further back, namely getting
Margaret's middle name? Would John Edward Lynch of Charlestown's birth
certificate have it? Thank you.
