One such book is "The Timetables of History" by Bernard Grun, a Touchstone
Book published by Simon & Schuster 1991. It covers -5000 through 1990
(unless there's a newer edition.) Events are arranged chronologically and
are broken down into seven categories: history & politics; literature &
theater; religion, philosophy & learning; visual arts; music; science,
technology, and growth; and daily life. It has 724 pages and comes in soft
cover.

Subject: Timeline

As I am working on my family history (TRASK family), I would like to
input
(in a timeline) items such as fires, tornadoes, great storms,
blizzards, or
anything else that might have affected people from Massachusetts from
1620
until 1900. Is anyone aware of any such "happenings" they could share
with
me? Perhaps point me to a book or books?

Thanks
