I had e-mailed the cemetery I asked about the people buried with my Miles
ancestors in Montreal in a Unitarian church owned lot, and called them
since I thought they weren't going to answer. THey sent further
information, including correct spellings. My ancestor, Edmund Miles, was
involved in founding the church. The church doesn't know why it owned the
lot, and the cemetery confirms that they did; bought it in 1856, and my 3X
great grandfather Edmund Miles was the first one buried in it, in May
1856. His son Alfred is buried with him.
