Subject: Looking for evidence of Ward & Stearns ancestors

I have the following information from various locations but have been unable
to nail down hard facts about ancestors in records:

Ward: Morris and Ann Ward has son Frederick William in Roxbury MA in 1846, 47
or 48 depending on which record based on his Civil War and pension record and
death record in RI which says they are from Ireland. Per MA birth records
they had son Francis in Pawtucket MA (how part of Lowell) 6/3/1850 which says
they are from England. I can find no other record of their being anywhere in
MA.

Stearns: I have death and other records of Celia Ann (Stearns) McComb born in
Framingham MA 1824 per her death record in RI and various RI census records.
Her father is listed as Timothy Stearns with no mother ever listed. There are
plenty of Timothy Stearns in Worcester County but none seem to line up date
wise.

I have searched MA archives and every source on MA I can find in RI and
internet. Any info you know of that may help like grave stone insctiptions,
etc.
