Subject: COLLINS, BROWN, WELTON

Just uncovered more details about some ancestors, and wanted to see if
anyone is researching the same surnames:
COLLINS (brothers JOHN and TOM)
WELTON (man who had a saloon in Boston)
BROWN
My great, great, great grandmother was a BROWN (maiden name was COLLINS),
who emigrated from Ireland (Cork, we believe) to Boston about 1849 after her
husband died (probably during the potato famine). She came over on a ship
with a family named WELTON (the head of which opened a saloon in Boston).
She had left behind her baby daughter Elizabeth Jane Brown with her
brothers, JOHN and TOM COLLINS who brought the baby over about 3 years
later.
Anything sound familiar? Anyone researching those names in those
timeframes?
