The original message had to do with ** where ** Josiah Winslow, son of
Edward, was married.

A secondary question was, granted that Josiah Winslow, son of Edward
Winslow, b abt 1628, was governor of Plymouth Colony 1673-1680,
whether his uncle, Josiah or Josias, Winslow, b 1606, was ever
governor of Plymouth Colony.

I don't think he ever was. It is clear in many references that I see
that many old genealogies got the nephew and uncle mixed up. I don't
think the uncle was ever Governor of Plymouth, but not sure who was
governor after Bradford died. Edward was Governor for a couple of
years while Bradford was still living before he went back to England
during the English Civil War.

I have Hannah for Susanna, probably same gal, different names for her.
I also have definite birthdates for all except Mary, from Backus, Dana
Converse Genealogy - Mary Backus 1949. I also had Marshfield as the
place of birth.
