Subject: Marriages - ALFORD

I am trying to find a marriage which would have
occurred prior to 1790.
I only have the last name of ALFORD ... but there
were very few
in the US. at that time. This marriage resulted in the
birth of a
Roswell and/or Charles. I can only find records which
indicate that
the "family was from Massachusetts:. I am following
every ALFORD
family in hopes of tripping across the relatives.
There is the outside chance that the father is named
Amasa (sp?) ALFORD. Thank you for reading all this.
