I notice that you are researching GALLOP(UP) I am very
interested in a Joan Gallop born abt.1618 - 21 in Mosterton, Co. Dorset,
England. died abt. 1690/91 in MA. daughter of Capt. John GALLUP &
Cristobel BRUCHETT/BRUSHETT of England. Joan GALLOP(UP) married Thomas JOY
abt 1637 in Dorset Mostern County England. Thomas JOY and Joan GALLOP(UP)
are my Greatgreatgrandmothers Mary B. JOY - 4 + great-grandparents. The
only information I have on the GALLOP(UP) is that of Joan GALLOP(UP) as
above and of her father and mother as above. Also I know that Capt. John
father is Thomas GALLOP(UP).
I also was questioning about GALLOP Island near Boston, if that
was named after the GALLOP family, I am inquisition about that.
