Hello: My gg grandfather Michel Labonte m: Emerence Doucette 07 April
1856 in St Cesaire, Canada. She was the daughter of Augustin Doucet and
Esther LePrince. I've not been able to find out where Michel is from or
who his parents are. I do have a great deal of information on Emerence
Doucette - all the way back to Germain Doucet La Verdue. Michel and
Emerence had children who came to Holyoke, MA and married in Holyoke.
They are: Emerence (Grenier)m: Peter Willet 27 May 1896; Angelina m:
Philibert Ouillette 02 January 1882; Andre m: Delia Perreault 21
December 1894; Peter m: Laura Ann Foohs 12 April 1899; and John m:
Rebecca Crochetier 29 November 1900. Hopefully someone would be able to
come to my assistance in locating more information on Michel Labonte and
his family. That would be greatly appreciated.
