I am confused about the posting claiming Gerald R. Ford changed his name
from Leslie Lynch King Jr. My father bless his heart shares the lines of
Bush, Ford, Grant, Roosevelt, and Nixon via their ancestors lines from the
Mayflower Pilgrims. My father ( who passed away before I discovered
genealogy )and Gerald Ford went to South High School in Grand Rapids, Mi.
together. How ironic that they were cousins and didn't realize it. They
would run into each other over the years since the Fords had a cottage on
lake Michigan near Holland where we lived. My dad never spoke to or of
Gerald Ford by any other name.
