Subject: [GM-L] Royalston MA Cemetery

When visiting Athol, MA, last month, I was researching family in a small
cemetery on the way to Royalston from Athol. The cemetery is on Chestnut
Hill Avenue, and does not have a name listed.
I wrote down some information from gravestones and when I go back for
Thanksgiving, I will attempt to go there and write down more. Until
then.....here goes....

Taft, William E. 1884 to 1942
Taft, Vina E. 1898 to

Austin, John T. Born November 3, 1861 Died February 18, 1870

Coombs, Waldo C. 1869 - 1929
Coombs, Alice F. Austin (his wife)

Davenport, Jesse C. Died March 20, 1868 at age: 51
We loved him well
We miss him much
But, God knows what is best

Kendall, Johathan Born 1748 Died July 8, 1817
Pioneer on Chestnut Hill - A soldier of the Revolution - private Capt.
Joseph Allen's Company which marched April 19, 1775. In General
Washington's army during the siege of Boston. Marched to Ticonderoga 1777
