Thomas Farnsworth b. l73l at Groton MA son of Josiah
Farnsworth and wife, Mary Pierce of Groton, MA.
Thomas Farnsworth m. Nov. l2, l753 Elizabeth DAVIS of
Littleton MA dau of Barnabus Davis and his wife, Hannah
(Powers) Davis. Elizabeth b. l738 and d. l823 at Alstead
N.H. They lived at Lunenburg MA and New Ipswich, NH.
The lst town meeting at New Ipswich held l3 Sep l762
listed "Joseph Stevens, Thomas Farnsworth, Francis Flet-
cher, Ebenezer Heald and Joseph Bullard who were chosen
surveyors of highways". (see also Kidder's History of
New Ipswich, NH p. 64) The lst town militia training
was in l77l.

Thomas Farnsworth, Drummer, and was one of those who went
to Cambridge at the time of the Battle of Lexington and
was there 8 days (see also l4 NH State papers p.34).
