I have been trying to solve a mystery on a family I am reseaching. Frederick
Botcher and Liza (MCKANE)Botcher. Liza was my greatgrandmother's sister.From
information that I have in the early 1900's they lived in Malden. I wrote to
the Malden cityhall for death certificates but none could be found.I tryed
Everett since my ggrandparents came from there.No listing of BOTCHER. I am
going to try Medford today just for a try but does anyone know of any other
spellings this name might have? Does this name sound familiar to anyone? MY
relative that gave me this information was not sure of the spelling but did
say they had a son and that they raised Boston Terriers and used to show them
at dog shows in Boston.
Any help , ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also would anyone know when
city directories or phonebooks for the Malden area came out and if anyone
knows if where these would be kept?
