I am looking for the passenger list for this ship (which may have been the SS
Lancastria) which sailed from England (possibly Southampton) to New York in
the fall (September)1929. The passenger list should include my mother
(Mildred Cooper, 14 yrs) and my grandmother (Isabella McGeorge Cooper). I
have been unable to find this particular passenger list on line anywhere and
am beginning to think either I have the name of the ship incorrect or my
ancestors are the only ones who ever sailed on it.
I do recall my mother telling me that the ship she immigrated on did not sail
to Ellis Island but did land in New York. I would very much appreciate any
help given.
