I am confused about these towns in Massachusetts
According to the Geographic Nameserver the towns of Marlboro and Marlborough
are separate towns, the former is in Essex co. and the latter is in Middlesex
county.

Is this true? How the heck can it be kept straight as they both sound the
same.
If it is not true - then which county notation is incorrect and which is the
correct spelling.

Makes my head hurt.
