Unfortunately, although John Wright is listed in the index of Banks' book,
there is no information on him in the text. Apparently Banks began his
research in the U.S. and then made trips to England to continue working. He
had some names in the index that he apparently intended to investigate, but
did not complete.

I did find some information in "Directory of the Ancestral Heads of New
England Families 1620-1700" compiled by Frank R. Holmes.

JOHN, settled Charlestown, Mass., 1640, freeman Woburn, Mass., 1643, died
1688.

Unfortunately, it doesn't say anything about what ship he might have arrived
on.
