Hi everyone,
Is anyone researching, or come across, the surname Agon. This is my
grandmother's maiden. Her father was born in Quebec, but came to the States
around 1900.
Family history has it that the family was originally from Massachusetts.
Though the name sounds French, it is supposedly English.
I have searched every source I can find over the past two years, and can't
even find any refernce to the name.
Does anyone have any ideas?
