Hello List:
We had a meeting with a priest from Holyoke who explained the Catholic
records
and every area has a dicoese and that is where records are kept.
He also explained that where you are baptized, is the permanent
record.....say when you
get married, your marriage record will go to the diocese where the baptizm
record is.......
the only record that is not necessarily sent to the original diocese is the
death record.

For your information Hatfield is in Hampshire County..... and there is
a mailing list
for Hampshire and Hampden Counties and they are:
