Ezra HALL's Deed to Jonathan LINCOLN

To all People to whom these presents shall come. Greetings. Know ye,
that I Ezra HALL of Lanesborough in the County of Berkshire and
Commonwealth of Massachusetts

For and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds to me in hand
paid before the ensealing hereof by Jonathan LINCOLN of Cheshire of
Cheshire in County & State [_______] the receipt whereof I do hereby
acknowledge and am fully satisfied, contended and paid. Have give,
granted, bargained, sold, aliened, released, conveyed and confirmed, and
by these presents do freely, clearly and absolutely give, grant,
bargain, sell, alien, release, convey and confirm unto him the said
Jonathan LINCOLN, his Heirs and Assigns forever:

Two acres & three quarters of an acre and thirty six rods of ground off
from the south east part of the second division Lot No. 86 in said town
of Lanesborough bound as follows. Beginning at a stake and stones about
one rod south of the brook in the west line of the [_____] of ground
formerly owned by John HALL of which this is a part & from
[fence/fence?] running north 32 & east twenty one rods to a stake and
stones by the road then south East 25 rods & 19 links to a stake and
stones then south 50 West 10 rods to a stake and stone south of the
brook, then to the first mentioned bound containing as before
described.

To have & to hold the before granted premises with the appurtenances and
privileges thereto belonging to him the said Jonathan LINCOLN and his
Heirs and Assigns; to his and their own proper use, benefit, and behoove
forevermore. And I the said Ezra HALL for my self and my heirs,
Executors, and Administrators do covenant promise and grant unto and
with the said Jonathan LINCOLN and his Heirs and Assigns forever before
and until the Ensealing hereof I am the true sole proper and lawful
Owner and Possessor the before granted Premises, with the
Appurtenances. And have in myself good right, full power, and lawful
authority to give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, release, convey and
confirm the same as aforesaid; and that free and clear, and freely and
clearly executed, acquitted and discharged of and from all former and
other gifts, grants, bargains, sales, leases, mortgages, wills, intails,
jointures, dowries, thirds, executions and encumbrances whatsoever.

And furthermore, I the said Ezra HALL for myself and for my Heirs,
Executors, and Administrators, do hereby covenant, promise and engage
the before granted premises, with the appurtenances unto him the said
Jonathan LINCOLN and his Heirs and Assigns forever, to warrant, secure
and defend against the lawful claims or demands of any person or persons
whatsoever. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this twentieth day of November in the year of our Lord One thousand
seven hundred and ninety 3.
