Hello everyone,

There has been a continuing debat for many years among the Bancroft's (of
which I am one) <smile> on whether or not John Bancroft's wife Jane is a
Bonython. Also the ship, which many have considered the actual one bringing
them over from England in 1623, being the James......

No actual "proof" (I dislike that word but it does mean what is needed), on
the Bonython nor of the Ship James. I have written information from family
that has verified the information, but nothing that anyone will accept.
Apparently what is needed is a ship's list or something that will show Jane's
last name and having them on a ship's list or something similar.

Is there anyone out there that would be kind enough to look it up for me (I
am on the West coast now) and let me know how, when and where I can obtain
such? I am willing to help pay for the information providing it doesn't cost
me an arm and a leg as I'm not willing to go that route yet!
