Good evening fellow listers,
Between 1865 and 1867 Samuel G HUMISTON [b March 30 1838 Vienna Onieda
County NY m 1st Ellen M Raymond (d Sept 1865) m 2nd Harriet Simmonds
Flagg in 1876 sons George Humiston b 1875 and Elliot Humiston 1877.] was
a prolific letter writer to my g-g-grandmother Lucy Ann COLLINS. Lucy
hadn't married my g-g-grandfather Oscar BARTHOLOMEW yet.
Places in Massachusetts mentioned in his Civil War papers are:
Chelmsford,Fitchburg, Forge Village (where most of the letters came
from) and Westford.
I would like to find a descendant of Samuel for the purpose of
exchanging information and copies of the letters and to see if any of
Lucy's letters to him survive.
TIA
Rick
