Date: Mon, 20 Nov 2000 21:16:05 EST
Hello,
John RUGGLES of Scituate, Plymouth, MA, 1729-1812, m. Lusanna BARSTOW,
parents of Deacon Samuel BARSTOW & Margaret STOCKBRIDGE of Hanover, MA. John
RUGGLES was the parents of Joanna BROOKS & John RUGGLES, both of whose wills
I recently posted My notes say their children were: Thomas RUGGLES (m.
Eunice OAKMAN, Mrs. Lucy BROWN Wright); Lusanna RUGGLES; and Hannah RUGGLES
(m. Elisha YOUNG).
Please note that the man reason I have been working with the wills is to get
more information to re-confirm that the parents of my first John RUGGLES who
came to Scituate (m. Joanna BROOKS) were John RUGGLES & Hannah DEVOTION of
Roxbury. Some books say it was John RUGGLES & Martha DEVOTION. However, the
dates do not workout with Martha. I am sure that Hannah is correct. Once
again, my RUGGLES line in Scituate have children named Hannah, not Martha, in
honor of Hannah.
